Metal Specs European to USA

(OP)
I now this has been asked many times before [and answered] but;  the compnay I work for has purchased a machine builder in Europe [Holland] with the intent of building the machines in the USA.  We need to translate their drawing material call outs to US equivilents.  I know there are concordances for this.  Help please.

RE: Metal Specs European to USA

sreid;
Have your company purchase the following reference.

Stahlschlüssel 2007

RE: Metal Specs European to USA

Stahlschlüssel is an excellent reference, as is ASM's Worldwide Guide to Equivalent Irons and Steels and ASTM's Handbook of Comparative World Steel Standards, 4th Edition.
