residential plumbing plans? single line drawing

(OP)
Creating a plumbing single line drawings plan for a residential job.
If i've got pipes in the 1st floor joist bay would i show them in the first floor plan or in the basement plan.

RE: residential plumbing plans? single line drawing

It is 6 of one - half dozen of another.

It depends on if you want to issue two plans or one.

If you locate them on the 1st floor plan - note the piping as being in the joist bay below.
