New Tanks Budget Quoting

New Tanks Budget Quoting

New Tanks Budget Quoting

(OP)
A rather controversial topic within my workplace is HOW do we estimate Budget Prices for New Build Tanks ?

There are several schools of thought, for example, price per tonne, price per gallon etc..

was just wondering how others out there do this, as getting a semi accurate formula seems difficult, unless we spend a lot of manhours on producing the budget cost, which is not really cost effective given it is just a budget quote.

Thanks

MTankee

RE: New Tanks Budget Quoting

Budget quote wouldn't need much more effort then price per tonne, as you are doing free work for the engineering mob.  If you provide too much they will exploit you and ask you for anything once they are asked by their client.   Pricing for Tender is a different ball game.
