Custom Property - Evaluated Value Issue

Custom Property - Evaluated Value Issue

Custom Property - Evaluated Value Issue

(OP)
Hi all,

I am having a dillema in that I am not getting the correct output for the Evaluated Value. I have created an equation NOM_QTY=CutLength/12. Note the CutLength changes for different configurations. I have attached a picture with my problem. The value in the example should be '6.10914' but it is giving me '6.10914 @FA-0109.SLDPRT"' I am guessing it has to do with the quotations in the Value/Text Expression but I am unable to figure it out.

All help is appreciated!

RE: Custom Property - Evaluated Value Issue

Can you try it without the quote marks in the file/config name?  In general, it's not a good idea to use special characters in your filenames, feature names, or config names.

Handleman,

Thank you very much!! I guess I was trying to cheat a little in name descriptions and forgot it would give me issues like that! This solved my problem!

Cheers!
