Rate of Change of Decreasing Pressure in Vessel (Help a EE!)

Rate of Change of Decreasing Pressure in Vessel (Help a EE!)

(OP)
Do not need to get too detailed, but I need to know the rate of change of the pressure in a vessel(gas digester) caused by a compressor sucking the gas (methane) out.  Starting pressures are 0-10 inches.

Sounds like you want a "pumpdown" equation:

Q = (V/t)ln(P1/P2)

Q is average volumetric pumping rate
V is volume of the system
t is time
P is absolute pressure

Use consistent units.

Good luck,
Latexman

Thanks Latexman.  Had that equation but the reminder to use absolute made my day and a huge difference!
