Missing DLOAD subroutine

Missing DLOAD subroutine

Missing DLOAD subroutine

(OP)
Hello,

Using Abaqus 6.7-1 and keep getting the error message: USER SUBROUTINE DLOAD IS MISSING

Im trying to apply a distributed load with a user created distribution.  This makes use of the DLOAD subroutine.
Ababcus helpfully tells me that I must "attach the DLOAD subroutine"  but I cant figure out how to do that...  It may be in the manuals somewhere but a search yields no answers and just reading through is like looking for a needle in a haystack.  I am able to set up my distributed load and even displays it within the load module I just cant run the input file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-j

RE: Missing DLOAD subroutine

If I remember correctly your command line has to looks something like:

abaqus job=jobname user=fortran_source_file_name

RE: Missing DLOAD subroutine

In the CAE you can edit the job and go to the General Tab. There is a field where you can enter the subroutine.

Thanks for the replies.  It just started working for no obvious reason... maybe my computer just needed the night off.

I did find the general tab location as well.

Thanks,

j
