(OP)
Hello all.  Through my career I have worked primarily on Emerson and Honeywell DCS systems, with a small amount of others such as Yokagawa mixed in.  Now, I am being asked to look into Foxboro A2.  As I have never been around these, I was hoping I could get some pros/cons/highlights/experience with the system.  Any feedback is appreciated.  I would rather see a few points to watch for before I get started.

About the only thing I recall from working around a Foxboro controller years ago is that I needed dropping resistors, so needless to say I know nothing about the newer lines such as the A2 other than it is a little less expensive.
