Command finder not visible when selected
Command finder not visible when selected
(OP)
Hello all,
I have recently migrated to NX6 from ProE and have been using the command finder to assist in the transistion. I noticed that I am inable to use this tool because it is not visible on my screen after selection of the button. I see the prompt to enter the word or phrase but that is all I see. Is there an option to turn this option off that I have inadvertently selected? i have restarted NX a dozen times and it still does the same thing. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Dave

RE: Command finder not visible when selected
I assume you are picking it from the icon.
Maybe try to go Help > Command Finder
and see if that changes anything.
I use that function all the time too without any problems.

I don't know what can cause that, but I will see what I can find out.

Preferences -> User Interface -> Layout
...and in the 'Settings' section select the 'Reset Window Position' button and see if it comes back on screen.
