25 MW and 45 MW Gas Turbines

25 MW and 45 MW Gas Turbines

(OP)
Dear Collegues,

I am planning to purchase one 25 MW and one 45 MW range gas turbines. I am considering GE, Siemens and Solar engines..
We will have daily start-stops and full stop on sundays..I don't like the 'aeroderivative' idea since I have to use a HRSG and a steam turbine so I will not be able to start very fast anyway.. Water is limited in my area so water sprint is not possible as well..
Does anyone have a recommendation?

Thank you in advance..
Batu

RE: 25 MW and 45 MW Gas Turbines

The only sensible recommendation is to get a feasability study done by a consultant with experience in this line of work. There is no way that an internet forum can be the basis for this type of decision, there are far too many variables and too many possibilities. Contacting someone like PB Power at Newcastle, England would be a good starting point. There are a few others too, but I used to work at PB's office so I can vouch for their capability.

You can check RR gas turbines too.
What Scotty saied, you must found a very expiriensed consultant.

Good Luck.
