Solid Edge ST2 Application Display

Solid Edge ST2 Application Display

(OP)
Hello to all!

We are using Solid Edge ST2 on Windows 7 32bit and have a RADEON HD2600XT video card.

With the Catalyst drivers 10.1 and 10.2 we can't use Graphics card driven (Advanced) and (Direct3D) options in the Application Display menu. With Catalyst 9.12 everything is OK, but with the new ones the to options are not allowed (doesn't exist in the menu).

Any ideas what we can do to resolve the problem?

RE: Solid Edge ST2 Application Display

Not sure there is anything you can do, apart from going back to Catalyst 9.12... the Radeon series is a gaming/general purpose card, not a 3D workstation card like the FireGL series from ATI or the Quadro FX from Nvidia.

In fact I've managed to enable these settings by modifying the AutoConfigure.txt file located in the Program folder. May be there is some change in the latest Catalyst drivers and Solid Edge can't recognise them correctly.
However, thanks for the reply.
