GE Multilin SR relay Oscillography in Comtrade

(OP)
Oscillography from SR relays is a CSV file rather than comtrade.

GE used to have a program called GE-Trade that allowed you to convert the files to comtrade, but it no longer works on the modern version of these relays.

They have suggested I need to buy Viewpoint Engineer - this is a fairly expensive software package with many features that I don't need, and it seems excessive.

On principle, I would rather not pay too, mainly because it used to be free, but also because with other manufacturers the file is either already in Comtrade format or the converter tool is included with the basic software.

We would like to have a comtrade file to replay the event with our test set - it only supports the comtrade format.

Does anyone know any other options available, or will I have to abandon my priciples !

If they abandon you, then make sure you remember it next time....and let them know now that is the plan today.

There is a program called "wave win" from SoftStuf.com. Don't know the cost but it may do it.
