NX6 Buttress Thread

NX6 Buttress Thread

NX6 Buttress Thread

(OP)
I added a buttress thread to a model.
In the view on the drawing I toggled the view preference to show the thread as detailed, instead of symbolic.
When I did that the thread did not at all look like a buttress thread, but a normal UNC style thread.

Did I do something wrong here?

(OP)
In previous version of NX weren't we able to add custom specifications to a thread? such as odd pitches and things like that?

RE: NX6 Buttress Thread

What you're seeing in the Drawing is based on what the various drafting standards support and there is no graphical support for anything other then normal 'Sharp V-threads'.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
