Standard Construction Detail Library

(OP)
I'm trying to estbalish my library of construction site details.  Does anyone have a good online reference for such a thing?  I know Florida has a pretty good site, but am looking for others - preferably in New York State.  I've looked at NYSDOT and NYSDOH already, but was wondering if anyone knew of another online resource.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Standard Construction Detail Library

US Army Corps of Engineers has a good collection of cad details.  I don't have the web site so you'll have to do a search.

RE: Standard Construction Detail Library

This is a link to the NYCDOT street design manual. It'as more policy than engineering, but worth a look.

Unfortunately, NYCDOT has little in the way of standards. I have a pdf of their  street construction details. If the file isn't too large I'll post it when I get back to the office. Also have NYCDEP sewer and water standards.

This is the NYC Department of Design and Construction Sustainable Design Manual; again it's policy but worth a look

The LADPW site looks pretty good.

In Ontario, Canada, the government has a comprehensive set of *.pdf drawings and in the Toronto area, there are a set of residential drawings by TACBOC

That LA DPW site is a secret to a lot of people.  I think it's nearly impossible to find that site unless someone tells you about it.  BTW those manuals on there are amazingingly useful.

EngWade - I have PDF's for NYCDEP sewer and water standards, NYCDOT street standards and utility standards. I think they're small enough to upload. Do you want them?

Thanks for all the links everyone.  I do like the LADPW site.

Bridgebuster, if it isn't too much of a pain, I'd be interested in those .pdfs,  Thanks!

RE: Standard Construction Detail Library

I'm going to try again later. It looks like we're having server problems - as usual - on this end.

I have five large file to upload

Part 2 of the Water main standards
Parts 1 and 2 of the sewer standards
DOT street standards
Private utility specs and standards - these are used for when privately owned utility work is included in a city street contract.

RE: Standard Construction Detail Library

DEP water main standards. One more water main file to follow.

THe water main drawings and the DOT street standards are not the best quality. They've never been converted to CAD and the onlt thing the agencies issue is a xerox of a xerof of a xerox.

The sewer standards are actually drawing in CAD.

RE: Standard Construction Detail Library

many of the good Los Angeles County standards were incorporated into the Standard Plans for Public Works Construction "Green Book" by the AGC in Southern California. They are now updated in that book. It is well worth the price.

RE: Standard Construction Detail Library

It may behoove the OP to start with standards from the local where he will do most of his work.
