Leading Zeros (Dual dimensioning) Nx6

Is there a way to remove the leading zeros on the inch dimension (metric is our primary dimension) when using dual dimension?

I checked in customer defaults. I do see the radial to turn it off, but will it affect both dimensions?

Thank you

RE: Leading Zeros (Dual dimensioning) Nx6

Whatever you do with leading zeros will affect both (primary and secondary) units of dimensions.
Yes, I agree that it should not be that way ... But NX is good as far as following ANSI and ISO standards, so that is what they need to follow.

It seems it was an option in previous versions.

It may have been an 'option' in the past, but if it did not conform to the supported standards, it was probably changed so that it would.

If you delete the leading zero from an inch dimension, how do you tell the difference between .5mm and .5 in?
The zero is there for a reason!
.5 on a drawing tells me 1/2 mm.
0.5 on a drawing says 1/2 in.

Correction!!!
.5 on a drawing tells me 1/2 in.
0.5 on a drawing says 1/2 mm.

I had them reversed.

I built a part with a .025 wall, dimensioned it with primary MM, secondary in. I get 0.635 for the primary and .025 for the secondary.

I'm on NX4 still.

Sometimes we just want it to work how we want it to work. I'm not sure if the standard bothers us as much as not having to choice to do certain things as we feel appropriate.

The job I am at now is the first place that utilizes the dual dimensioning. Before here, I have never used it.
Just some of the guys here said prior to NX6 you could, now we can't.  Just nice to get some information as to why it was changed.

Thank you.
