use of an internal lining in Amine Treatment Flash drums

use of an internal lining in Amine Treatment Flash drums

(OP)
Hi to all,

I'm still evaluating the use of an internal lining on a Flash Drum used in an amine Treatment Plant.
It is to underline that this plant is very small due to the fact that it is a part of a Process Training Plant.

I have found a Belzona Product 1391 a Ceramic HT (a two component High temperature coating system) but this require a minimum thickness of 600-750 microns and also a curing temperature of 100°C.

My question is, it is possible to use other system(possibly airless application)that do not need the curing and elevated thicknesses?

Following there are the main parameters in T and P for main items:

Absorber
T: about 45°C (Design 85°C);
P: about 4 barg (Design 5 barg)
Liquid: Amine (DEA), Water, CO2 and N2.

Regeneration column
T: about 112°C (Design 150°C);
P: about 1.2 barg (Design 3.6 barg)
Liquid: Amine (DEA), Water, CO2 and N2.

Amine Flash Drum
T: about 50°C (Design 85°C);
P: about 3.6 barg (Design 5 barg)
Liquid: Amine (DEA), Water, CO2 and N2.

Thanks for all.
