Please have a look at the attched model. Layer 51 is the work layer and there are some curves on it. These can also be seen in the "unused items" folder in the part navigator. Why on earth are they not displaying in the graphics window though? Even try adding another curve yourself. leave the part navigator open and you will see the curve being added to the list, but it is invisible and unselectable on the screen. Any help would be really appreciated. I'm beginging to think it may be a bug in the model.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards

Try doing a part clean-up.

How on earth do they get hidden in the top view? what causes this to happen, I've never seen it before in 10 years of UG/NX. Many thanks though.

Is Visible In View the culprit ?

Somebody had set visible in view in the top view, but they hadn't managed to save the view so if you just swap back and forth between views then the curves are liable to show up. If that fails just go into visible in view and reset it to global. Why anyone would want to torture other operators by leaving a file in such a state is beyond me, but it is a rather old part so once upon a time it might have had pertinence, (long before V15 though, we're talking pre-V10 drawing technique here).

Thanks all, problem solved, it was the visible in view issue. We use that obviuosly in drawings, but I can't recall ever using it in  modelling which is why I had trouble spotting it.
