Nutrition label for LED fixtures

Nutrition label for LED fixtures

RE: Nutrition label for LED fixtures

I was in SAM'S and one of the GE LED lights Had a new sticker over the lumens. Maybe they caught a little exageration.  I was looking on ebay and the same china seller was had three listings with the same picture LED.  Each one had a different lumens output, but they were selling at the same buy it now price.  Who knows what you are getting.  A lot of people building their own are adding about 10% red leds to make them a little more pleasing.

RE: Nutrition label for LED fixtures

They missed Lifespan; i.e. "a few hours".

They are PRETTY DARN BRIGHT!!  I'm still seeing afterimages...

Not quite that bad, but I looked at one that was rated, prior to all of this, at 90 lumens, and it most definitely hurt to look at the light.
