hi
I'm trying to model a highly compressible material in ansys via curve fitting. I have the test Strain/stress data for uniaxial compression. As I'm assuming the material will only deform in one direction I have set my uniaxial test data in tbft, eadd as seen below

0              0    0
0.357142857    0    0.100
0.448979592    0    0.176
0.517857143    0    0.264
0.571428571    0    0.342
0.614285714    0    0.424
0.649350649    0    0.520
0.678571429    0    0.615

where the first coloumb is Engineering Strain
the 2'd is  Lateral Direction Engineering Strain
and the 3'd Engineering Stress

Because of 100% compressio im fixing b=0.
When putting pressure on top af the material and trying to solve it ANSYS terminates the analysis after a while with the following:
reason for termination........error in element formulation.
And when im checking the last step the deformation is much higher compared to the data I've used
Does anyone know why this happens or have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thank You
