Apologies for this not being SW related; when using the forum search function does anyone else get no results more recently than 2007?

Even if I search for a keyword in the latest post and select 'When > last 7 days' I get the 'no results can be found message'.

Cheers

RE: Forum search function

Yes it happens to me always. Therefore i use google search.

Somebody needs to do something. :)

RE: Forum search function

The Forum search has been inoperable for a long itme.  The Google search above is your best option.

Have you read FAQ731-376: Eng-Tips.com Forum Policies to make the best use of these Forums?

RE: Forum search function

this is a nifty little trick...

go to google and search

"anodizing site:eng-tips.com"

as you might imagine it searches eng-tips.com for the term anodizing.

Obviously it works for any website that google indexes (read:every website).

it's really helpful when looking for specific tech info @ places like efunda engineersedge and eng-tips.
