How are you guys getting anything done PV360 2010?

I found a bug that when in Orthographic the Environment is gone I just get some sort of color left over from the environment. Same thing happens when I load and image or a new environment. I can only see the enviroment or background image if I am in prespective or spherical and neither of them I need to use.

Anyone else seeing this?

RE: Photoview 360 2010

I haven't had any problems...well, other than those that PV360 just doesn't address.  Is the problem file-specific?

Nope! I can repro it on any assembly or any part file. Our VAR logged in and confirmed the problem on his machine after watching me with a file of his own.

Now I see it.  Damn it, Scott, everything was fine a minute ago!  I never noticed it because by default the projection type is set to Perspective.  I tend to do most of my renders in Perspective.

Of course you can cheat by creating your own room surrounding your model and applying appearances or decals to the walls and floor.  But it would be nice if it just worked the right way.  Or you can use PhotoWorks until PV360 gets its crap in a pile.

Testing it out now and that deems to work at the moment. Believe me I did test it out prior to calling my VAR and it was worse than what I am seeing at the moment.

Adjusting it before did not seem to make a difference, but now it seems to be working. I will post the image if I see it return. Best way I know to describe it is that the model was really close to the camera on the sides, but not in the middle... alot like a fish eye lens.

Here is another one I found, but worked around it. When in Prespective camera I was unable to rotate my assembly. It kept rotating the Environment. You can imagine the solution was to turn off the environment, then I could rotate my assembly. Of course turn my Environment back on and its fine.

This seems like a bug to me and hopefully not intended behavior.
