SPHERE HANDLING VALVE FOR UNIDIRECTIONAL PROVERS

SPHERE HANDLING VALVE FOR UNIDIRECTIONAL PROVERS

(OP)
Dear All,
i am working on a unidirectional pipe prover and i need to design and purchase the launching and receiving chamber. I am now facing some difficulties on the sphere handling valve, which should be something like an "hemispheric valve" which at first stops the ball and then release the ball and stops the fluid. Is there anybody who can give me some hints about this kind of valve, e.g. where i can find them or some manufacturer i can ask to?
Thank you in advance.
Kindly,
Francesco Cuoco

... more details needed!

Are we talking about something like a pig launcher/receiver or a sample testing unit (both exists with different constructions)??? But a single valve?

Could you please expand on your idea? I do not believe this 'animal' exists, the first impresiion is that we would probably be talking about a bypass with a combination of pipe/valves assembly?

Sizes, fluids, pressure and other details?

Check with Maloney.

Could a 3-way valve with welded in stop solve your problem?

See attached link. KTM was earlier years willing to offer modified valves. Perhaps other supplier, or standard valve modified by valve service workshops/suppliers?
