Could someone tell me how to apply line support to a wall.I would like to get the reaction forces under the self weight of the wall

RE: line support to a wall

There is no line support in ETABS. You will have to discretize into a finite number of points and apply a point support. Sum all the reactions to get the weight.

RE: line support to a wall

you could add a null line element, impose the load, and dont forget to mesh the line exactly as the wall meshing inorder to have the proper load transfer. please test before using on real model.
