5086 H32 vs H116

(OP)
Tank for fresh water storage. 1/4" welded plate. The tank is 20'x20'x12'. I was to use the H32 but not available right now so it was suggested I use H116. Whats the difference? Is the H116 suitable?

Thank-you

RE: 5086 H32 vs H116

First time I'd heard of that temper.  Matweb (www.matweb.com) shows them being equivalent based on Aluminum Association data sheets, but I have no spec's. to back that up with.
