I've set the USER VARIABLE (i've got no access to ENV VARIABLE)
to UGII_MONIKER  0  , so that i can wave link to a Solid Edge part. (found from a thread written by Hudson)
The link works, but not by "tools, update session" and not by double clicking the wave link..
The only way i can get it to work is to re-open the SE part into the session then "display parent" then i can "update session" and the part updates.
Is there something else i need to set, maybe in the customer defaults, interpart links, or something?

RE: UGII_MONIKER 0

Grace me with a link back to my own original post and I'll at least stand a chance of illuminating further. As present I'm somewhat in the dark as to what you need.

Best Regards

Joycejo, It makes no difference if i have a value of 0 or =0 ,it still works but only if i do it as i explained !

Hudson, i'll have a look tonight where it was from, but it was just a post about UGII & stuff where to find a list of variables, you didn't go into detail, but just stated it as a useable variable.

i don't know why i wrote 0 i meant 1, but still.... the update has to be done by reopenning the file, not by update session.
