We have recently installed a new pen table.  We are having a problem with M, W, V, N, and A plotting spikes (above and below other letters) at the vees of these letters.  Does anybody have an idea of what could be causing this?

RE: plotting spikes certain letters

No but I recall hearing this problem posted before, some years ago, maybe not this site.

Is there some plotter settings you can tweak, font rounding or something? (grasping for something)

Another guy knew about it but thought it was just his computer.  He fixed it.  Something to do with mitering on the pen table?

Thanks though
