caught out saving assemblies

caught out saving assemblies

(OP)
I've been caught out before when saving assemblies,........
Say you have an assembly, with 2 or 3 sub-assemblies under it, and you revise some parts, and move some parts from one sub-assembly to another, then you go back up to the top level, and go "save-all", you'd expect all the sub-assemblies to have been saved with all of those changes, but it doesn't !!
I've found you have to go into those sub-assemblies and save them as well before you exit.
Has anyone else noticed this, and is there a way to avoid it, with some settings or something?

RE: caught out saving assemblies

That doesn't sound right to me. It should work unless you have not write access to the sub assemblies.

Best Regards
