Phase fault

Phase fault

I'm running 3.5MW deutz gas engine of which the outgoing breaker 2MVA always trips on PHASE FAULT and EARTH FAULT. I don't know what i can do ensure this did not repeat it self. please could be the  sepam setting causing this?

RE: Phase fault

Could be or could be an actual fault or Failing cable/ equipment. There is not enough info provided.

When does it happen? How often does it happen.
What do you do to come back online. What have you checked so far? Anyone else familiar with the system has any opinions?
Settings? System voltage?

I reset the fault on SEPAM SCHNEIDER panel. This fault has happen 3 times last week.i could not check the cable gland due to demand from our customer.

RE: Phase fault

How long has this been going on for?

Repeated trips of an engine will damage it, difficult to quantify the relationship between number of trips and damage.

This fault was experience  last week and last year, but last year the outgoing breaker 2MVA do tripped on PHASE FAULT and engine would'nt shutdown.
