Assembly, Invisible Part

Assembly, Invisible Part

Assembly, Invisible Part

(OP)
Hello,
I have a problem with an assembly in Solid Edge.
I downloaded some files on an engine builder website, and when I open the assembly, I miss one part. When I open it in part, it works perfectly.
I noted two things: the basic color of this part is a sort of light green, normally the part should be gray (as the other parts), and in the edge bar, the different features are named: Copy of...

Somebody have ever had the problem ? I try to fix it but...till now, unsuccessfully.

PS: Sorry for my poor English...I'm not a native speaker.

RE: Assembly, Invisible Part

I guess the part has been imported, so there is a good chance that what you're seeing in the part is only construction surface instead of a solid body. That's why you don't see it in the assembly.

If I'm right, to fix this you have to create a base feature with the construction surfaces and if necessary some boolean operations to complete the part.

If you need more details I'll be glad to help.

Patrick

You can also right-click, Show/Hide Component -> Surfaces.
