Soliworks and Windows 7

Hi All,

Just curious who's running Windows 7 64 yet? I'm thinking about loading it onto my computer on Saturday. I'm sick of Vista sporadically not starting because it's having some sort of hissy fit.

Thanks

RE: Soliworks and Windows 7

Running Win 7 Pro x64 here. I have no problems with Solidworks 2010 Sp2.1

Thanks Bugie.

Everything I've heard so far is that 7 was what Vista should have been.

RE: Soliworks and Windows 7

I like Win 7 (64 bit).  Don't know if you saw my post about 2009 SP5 but I'm finding 2009 SP 4.1 is fast, SP 5.1 is very slow.  I have no idea why.

RE: Soliworks and Windows 7

Hi, overkill4:

When you say Vista sporadically not starting, do you mean Windows Vista sporadically not starting, or Solidworks sporadically not starting?

I mean Vista. Occasional bootmgr missing errors. Then i put in my cd to repair the installation and it tells me nothing wrong.

Will SW2007 32bit run for those of us stuck on '07?
