Previews of part files

(OP)
Hello everyone,
I am a recent convet to NX 6.  I am having a problem seeing the part previews in the history tab of the resource bar.  I know it must be a setting that I have set incorrectly.  I have gone to the customer defaults>gateway>general>part>part preview and made sure that store preview is checked and under cretaion time on save is selected.  Also at same location under Model View Preview, I made sure Store Preview is selected with creatin time set to on view save selected.  Any help here would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

RE: Previews of part files

What I do is go under File -> Properies -> Preview and
toggle the "on demand" button, then I press
"create preview now" and I toggle it back to
"on save" and then I save the part.

Thanks Jerry1423.
Although this did not work, I got an error stating that the window was obstructed and this caused me to remember a past issue.  I am using dual monitors and I use my second monitor as my CAD monitor.  I relocated my NX session and to my primary monitor and it worked.  Thanks for the memory jog.

Dave
