Easiest way to group new lines/areas after division

Easiest way to group new lines/areas after division

(OP)
Is there an easier way to group the the newly formed lines after the command LDIV? Assuming the original lines have some attributes assigned using (LATT).

Lets say i have a set of lines grouped using CM command. Now i split some of the lines in this set and want to regroup including the newly formed lines. Since my lines are not numbered consecutively, Its not necesary that the newly fromed lines may have higher line numbers (relative to the highest before split).

Its easier if the newly formed lines retain the original attributes (real constant number or MAT number) but i think they don't.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Nodal
