Spline Load Capacity

Spline Load Capacity

(OP)
I have a copy of DIN 5466-1 2000-10 which I am trying to use to rate some splines.  There are some undefined parameters (stress concentration factors and size factors etc) used in the calculations.  There is a note given for these parameters that I have transalated as "Standard in Preparation".  Does anyone know if there is a mroe recent version of this standard that includes details of the parameters?  Is there another source I can use to calculate the parameters?

RE: Spline Load Capacity

I'm not familiar with the DIN, but I'd be surprised that the stress concentration factors are undefined.

IHS (the company my agency uses for access to Codes & Standards) shows the most recent version of the standard as the 2000-10-01 version you have.
