linear patterned flexible assembly-configure to copy motions?

(OP)
I have an assy model with a subassembly that is flexible(for visual motions).  I've used the linear  component pattern function to make a copy of it, and would like both of them to make the same movement when I move(flex) the original.  They dont, and I want them to.  Can I make this happen?

Never mind.  I just was granted access to the sw knowledge database and found the answer

RE: linear patterned flexible assembly-configure to copy motions?

Can you share how you did this?  I have this problem when I pattern pnuematic grippers. The gripper jaws all follow but the grippers finger don't.

I apologize for my vagueness.  The knowledge database bassically told me I cant do what I expect it to.  I havent come up with the optimal solution yet.  Since it was only two on my model I just reassembled them individually (I put the components into the assembly instead of flexible assemblies into the assembly).
