RE: how can I open a .doc document on NX

In other words, you want to launch MS Word from within NX, correct?  May I ask WHY?  To what purpose will this be?

Hi John,

No exactly, I want to launch a concrete .doc document,

just only for be faster. Than minimaze NX and launch MS word.

I want to annoate somethings, somethings when I was on NX.

Thanks.

Put a shortcut for NX and Word in your 'startup' folder, then both programs will start when you boot your computer. As long as you don't close one of them you will have instant access to both all day long.

Ok thanks,

I will try.

Or just add a user defined button (using Customize) to one of your toolbars and have it call up MS Word.  While I haven't done that for Word, I have added an icon which launches the Windows Calculator.

And if that's too much effort, why not just add MS Word to your WINDOWS 'Start' menu, as that way you don't need to minimize NX to launch it.
