Parameters from features in Cosmos

Parameters from features in Cosmos

(OP)
Hi

I'm having trouble creating a design scenario in solidworks. The parameter I'm trying to varie in the study is from an extruded feature and is coloured blue, hence it won't select or let me drive this dimension as a parameter. Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this?

Kind regards

Jim

RE: Parameters from features in Cosmos

Can you modify it in the model itself or is it driven by an equation.

If you select the Variables Icon you can Give it a Parameter name and choose model dimension as type. Then you can double click the Feature and it's dimension to set it as a Simulation Parameter to vary in the Design Scenario.

Michael
