Generator influnece to primary side of transformer

Generator influnece to primary side of transformer

Generator influnece to primary side of transformer

(OP)
Last week we had an issue with a short circuit at 150kV grid. This caused the site generator unit trip on a current setting.(3550 Amps registered by the protection relay)
The generator load at that moment was 35 MW, 9 MVAr.
The site load was 25 MW 8 MVAr.
This On site generator is 46 MVA and is supplying 10 kV.
This site grid is behind a transformer 150/10kV 20% Uk.
I don't need the exact numbers, but how is the impedance of the transformer behaving in this situation, while the generator is feeding from 10kV into this primary short circuit, seen from the 10kV side?

regards

BHT

RE: Generator influnece to primary side of transformer

No differently than at any other time. It is just a chunk of impedance in the equivalent circuit, no different from any other impedance.
