Do any of you know anyone who manufactures a 2:1 spur gearbox which can handle 8000NM?

I want to convert 90 degrees as output from an actuator to 180 degrees.

I understand that output will be reduced 50% by the ratio and probably a further 15% to 20% by inefficiency but believe that it would operate a 180 Choke Valve.

UK manufacturers preferred.

Thanks, Itascot.

Thanks gerhardl,

I contacted AUMA, but they dont have 2:1 and didnt see the advantage (or not in this case) of using a gerbox to "reduce" torque, suppose it is an odd requirement. Found a manufacturter called Tadler & they can supply.
