Here what i need

How do you i figure out how many pounds are in a cylinder that is rated for 2000psi and i only have 1000psi in it??? I have a cylinder that rated at 3tons at 2000psi. cylinder stroke of 3-1/2" and 3.45in2 effective piston area

Effective area * pressure = force

if 3 tons (6600 lbs +) are in the cyclinder at 2000 psi, wouldn't it be reasonable to have 1.5 tons at 1000 psi ??
