AASHTO 3rd Ed vs AASHTO 4th Ed (2008 Interim)

(OP)
Preparing to take the Structural I exam again and I notice that they have updated the required codes for the test from the 3rd edition to the 4th edition (2008 Interim).

My company does not do a lot of bridge work and therefore does not have updated AASHTO codes on hand.

Before I invest in my second copy of a reference I use solely for a test, I wonder if someone familiar with the two codes can enlighten me on what the changes are between the two editions of the code.  Perhaps there is a document somewhere listing the updates?  Do the updates between editions generally only further clarify points or do they introduce new factors, methods, and requirements?
