Anyone have a copy of "The Continuous Beam-Column on Elastic Supports" by E. C. Holt that they can post?

Thanks

Ron

RE: Top Chord Stability of Pony Truss Bridge

Not me, whilst check Galambos IV and V editions that both have I think enough info for designing them á la Holt.

RE: Top Chord Stability of Pony Truss Bridge

I don't have the paper either, but.......

The AASHTO Guide Specification for Pedestrian Bridges has an example for the analysis of the top chord of a pony truss.

RE: Top Chord Stability of Pony Truss Bridge

the AASHTO example is based on Galambos. I have his 4th ed.; probably nothing has changed since.

The Column Research Council Book (not sure what edition) has a chapter on the stability of Through pony trusses.
