Using Win 2000 OS; dialog boxes blank when opened

(OP)
I'm running Windows 2000; when opening, saving, etc. in any software (AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) the dialog boxes for typing in file names are opening blank.  Buttons still work (ex. the SAVE button on the pop-up box) but they don't have text on them either.  Any ideas why?

RE: Using Win 2000 OS; dialog boxes blank when opened

No LD ...these are common control dialog boxes and they always appear in the smae way as they work with Microsoft applications...Go thorugh MSDN to know more of it.
