Converting multiple RBE2 elements to RBE3 quickly?

Converting multiple RBE2 elements to RBE3 quickly?

(OP)
I have a model with about 100 Rigid (RBE2) elements and would like to convert them all to Constraint (RBE3) elements, without having to add the interpolation factor individually to each element.  I've heard there is an easy way to do this in Femap, but I'm having a hard time finding a way to do it.  Any ideas?

RE: Converting multiple RBE2 elements to RBE3 quickly?

Have you tried Modify/Update Element/Etype (if this option is available)?  Then select all elements using Etype as the selection method.

Could this work?  I'm not at my work PC, so I can't confirm.

Dear Kafein,
In FEMAP this is very easy, go to "Custom Tools > Element Update > Convert RBE2s to RBE3s", you can pick one by one, or in the "Entity Selection" window click on METHOD and there choose "by type" and select "29..Rigid" plus click on "MORE" and at this point you can click in the highlighter icon and FEMAP will show you highlighted all the rigid elements selected, finally click on OK and you are done!!.
Best regards,
Blas.
