Graphite - Electrical resistance

(OP)
Hi,

I am looking for a solid graphite material (not powder) with the highest possible electrical resistance. It can be an impregnated grade. Any ideas about the best impregnation material to achieve better electrical resistance properties than a pure graphite grade?

Thank you.

RE: Graphite - Electrical resistance

You might want checkout UCAR, especially the insulation grades as some of them are used touching electric elements.  I was involved with a process where we were going to use carbon electrodes and remember one material which I believe was carbon and MnO2 that had very high composite resistivity.
