I'm a new union safety coordinator in a fairly large manufacturing facility without any OSHA training yet.
We have several enclosed break areas throughout the facility and we had to remove a drinking fountain from inside one of them because of a drainage problem.
A former safety committee member says that it is an OSHA requirement to have a drinking fountain in each enclosed break area and I can't find anything that addresses this issue in the OSHA general industry 1910 book.
Does anybody no of such requirements and where is it addresed in the OSHA manual?

Thanks,
safetygeorge

All of the OSHA regulations are available for free download at this site.  The pdf files are word searchable under the windows edit pull down for search.
