How to Change hole features

How to Change hole features

(OP)

Hello all, Happy New Year!. I have a quick NX 6.0 question.

I created threaded holes using the hole feature in NX 6.0.  How can I change the holes to become smooth bore.  When I click on the holes, I have the option to change the size (right now they in inc UNC units)however, I do not have the option to change from threaded hole to simple hole.  All the other hole options, besides the threaded hole option, are 'greyed out'.

Thanks you,

Brandon

Thanks

RE: How to Change hole features

If you use promote body instead of WAVE the threads will be included in your new part.

You will not however get a promoted mirrored body in the same way that you can a linked mirrored one. It seems to me like the logical way forward is to request an enhancement if this behaviour really affects you a lot.

Best Regards
