Sketch in multiple location
Sketch in multiple location
(OP)
Hello,
I have a 3d spline and I when I sweep a sketch I made using the 3d spline as a guide, the result kinda twist a little bit.
I create a datum on intervals and copied the curves of the sketch over. I have 6 sketches in all.
Is there a way to control all the sketches using just the dimension on the 1st sketch?
What I did is make the dimension of the other sketch equal the 1st but with a lot of dimensions, it tends to be tedious.
I still have 5 other parts to do and all of them would have the same situation
Is there a faster way of doing this?
TIA!

RE: Sketch in multiple location
Perhaps if you could upload your example someone might be able to provide you with a solution which would be MUCH more elegant than creating multiple associative instances of a sketch.

It is important to think out your expression scheme as much as possible. I must add that the expression too in UG is really fabulous. The ONLY thing I miss is a search and replace function (as of NX5).
Good luck working with expressions is complcated but hugely rewarding!
