postbuilder machine axis

(OP)
Hi guys,

I want to know, how can I customize machines axis on postbuilder. For 3 axis horizontal and vertical milling center and 4 axis milling centers too.

How can I change machine axis, from horizontal +Z to vertical +Z and vertical+z to horizontal +Z

See you soon, thanks.

RE: postbuilder machine axis

Once you have created a post, you cannot "change" the kinematics of the post anymore. Once it's set, it's set.

You can however, create a new post, with new kinematics, using another post as a controller.

What this will do is bring in all customization that you have done to a new machine type.

Search the help file for "Changing Postprocessor Kinematics"

Also, see attached picture

Hope this helps,
JAY
