using ST in NX6 I want to move the holes of a flange on a new reference circle for all holes - using move face doesn't work as expected - what must I do to get it work?
thx in ad

RE: radial move

There is no 'move' function which will do what you're asking.  The best you can do is delete all of the holes add a Dimension feature to the remaining hole, then use Pattern Face to recreate your bolt-circle.  Now when you edit the Dimension feature the holes will move as you expect them to.

See my attached model as an example where you can edit the dimension by selecting the 'Linear Dimension' feature in Part Navigator and then edit the value in the Details panel (or double-click it and edit the dimension value on the screen).

thank you John,
this clears it up, I thought it would be an option of move face mit the radial distance sub option .-> It would be a nice and easy opportunity - your solution a workaround. Please put it on the wishlist for future enhancements thx and all the best ...
