need to find an entity similar to UL.

you might call them, there are other testing ctrieria in nfpa 1983 that references other standards, and they may test to that criteria


do you work for a fire department or other sgency, it would help to know to maybe direct you  to what you are looking for?????

I would call the above links and see what they tell you.

Once again if you look in nfpa 1983 it has other standards (non-nfpa) that the item has to be tested to. like meeting an astm

i will make some calls.  thanks for the input.
i know the standards (including ISO) but in order to certify the product the certifying agency must also be certified to certain standards in order to accomplish certification.
