How do they do that?

How do they do that?

RE: How do they do that?

Whether called absailers or alpinistas, it is common in some industries to use crafts people trained with mountain climbing gear to perform maintenance where a scaffold is not practical.      We used absailers and trained technicians in Mexico for an offshore project.  Rarely but I occasionally see "dopes on a rope" winky smile onshore in the USA.  I think that I would have enjoyed this trade when youthful.

RE: How do they do that?

So how are they thinking that this will increase signifecently the need for ropes? Or is this just a paper editor without a brain?

RE: How do they do that?

I missed that... I think it may be an increased need for ropers, not ropes.
